No Halloween


A dear friend of mine began a discussion on facebook about what to do on October 31 this year. Hubby and I have never celebrated Halloween with the boys because we believe the principles of the holiday center around satanic celebration. 1 Life, 100 Goals


Shaun King, a Morehouse graduate, pastors the Courageous Church, where they are in the middle of a series called 100 Life Goals. Vacation Bible School


Tonight Amari and I attended Vacation Bible School. Now, it has been YEARS since I attended VBS. It definitely had to have been in the 80s. Two Faiths, One Prayer


On Sunday hubby and I attended church with the boys. We went to the Church of Notre Dame, which is a predominantly white church on Columbia’s campus.
