Last November, for Hubby’s birthday, I signed he and Gadget up for soccer lessons. Apparently, the class was new and not very popular in Manhattan, so they were the only two participants. Gadget ended up getting one on one coaching which was pretty cool. It was a hustle getting to the indoor gym at six PM every Thursday, but somehow hubby did it, even with the Lion in his arms. I love my soccer daddy.

Slow Food
This morning the boys and I went to the local farmer’s market for the week’s fresh fruit and veggies. We got peaches, a lemon, watermelon, red grapes, a tomato, an onion, a green pepper and two potatoes. Oh, and a cucumber. I only had $11 dollars on me, so we got what that money could buy. Cherries
Today we received a shipment of cherries. My mom gave us the gift of fresh fruit, and every month a box of fresh citrus or some type of berry arrives. I think she has a monthly subscription to a fruit company, we’re not really sure, but the fruit tastes great. Thanks mom!
