This morning the boys and I went to the local farmer’s market for the week’s fresh fruit and veggies. We got peaches, a lemon, watermelon, red grapes, a tomato, an onion, a green pepper and two potatoes. Oh, and a cucumber. I only had $11 dollars on me, so we got what that money could buy. Today we received a shipment of cherries. My mom gave us the gift of fresh fruit, and every month a box of fresh citrus or some type of berry arrives. I think she has a monthly subscription to a fruit company, we’re not really sure, but the fruit tastes great. Thanks mom!

Monday night we barbecued by the pool. Joshy got to run around behind his brother, and Gadget (aka Amari) took a dip in the pool fully clothed. A dragonfly visited us. It flew straight into the living room and perched on a plant. Hubby took this as the perfect photo opportunity. Meanwhile, Amari and I were screaming and running around. It was so huge! And when it flapped its wings it made the loudest sound. Daddy was nice enough to carry the plant outside and shoo the dragonfly away for us.
