I am Scared of Skidmarks


Hubby and I have begun teaching Gadget how to wipe after going toots. Teaching a two-year old how to effectively wipe so as to not leave behind any debris is challenging. I would much rather continue to do it for him, than to later unveil a thin line of residue in his spongebob underpants. Eew, I cringe at the thought. Ahhh, motherhood.

Soccer Dad


Last November, for Hubby’s birthday, I signed he and Gadget up for soccer lessons. Apparently, the class was new and not very popular in Manhattan, so they were the only two participants. Gadget ended up getting one on one coaching which was pretty cool. It was a hustle getting to the indoor gym at six PM every Thursday, but somehow hubby did it, even with the Lion in his arms. I love my soccer daddy.

I Just Realized…


As hubby and I were talking yesterday, I realized what a gamble he took when marrying me. Being a father has been at the top of his list of life goals for a long time, and I can’t see him being truly happy and fulfilled without children, and especially a son, to raise in his image. When hubby and I were courting, I had some of the typical female issues, like cramps and the like….
