Mom and I really enjoyed your visit home and especially did we enjoy being with the boys. They are so special to us. We realize the tremendous effort it takes to travel solo with two energetic boys and greatly appreciate you for the sacrifices you make and the commitment to motherhood and family. We see and feel the love you have for your family and continuously pray that God will continue to bless all of you and shower you with His grace now and always.

Congratulations to your hubby!!! I enjoy reading your blog, and your family is so beautiful.

I can't wait to hear about your traveling solo experience. I have yet to try it with my two girls.

Jolawn,
I totally have to agree -- seeing you and catching up was one of my favorite parts of the reunion. One of my friend's and I were discussing this week about people's capacity for change (in general, we are amazed and humbled by it), but at our reunion I was blown away by how wonderful it was to discover connections with people that maybe haven't CHANGED, exactly, but have nurtured different sides of themselves as adults, and through that we've found common ground.
Ugh, did that make sense at all? I've had a totally sleepless night so who knows what I'm talking about. But yes, I loved seeing you! And I was so bummed to miss you in DC!

And also, yes: you will never see me stumbling drunk at my high school reunion! That was... that was sad.
