On Saturday we decided to take family portraits since the last time we took a family photo was just after Joshua’s birth over a year ago. We’re also trying to conserve and be great stewards over what God has blessed us with, so we took the photos ourselves.
Hubby used a tripod and a remote and we snapped film using our Nikon D40. I am really pleased with how the photos turned out. You can’t tell in the photos, but there were swarms of bees munching on nectar in the garden. They were buzzing in and out of just about every plant in the garden, and they were huge. I kept telling Amari not to run because I didn’t want them to get aggravated, and when one would fly near my face, I kept telling myself to stay calm because I believe that bees can sense fear.
It was a hot and glorious day, probably one of the last few we’ll have.

beautiful photos of a beautiful family. your boys are too cute. by the way, i’m open to arranged marriages for the girls.
