Yesterday we went to a pirate themed birthday party for our former GMAT instructor’s 4 year old son. It was at Dino Dig, and it was run very efficiently. I shall have to post pictures of Amari digging for treasures in the sand. Anyway, I snapped this photo and realized how to some, this image may be a rare commodity. To me, it is real life and everyday life to see hubby engaged and present in his son’s life.
In the past week I have seen hubby: wipe Amari’s nose, rub Vicks on his chest, pack their lunch, give the boys a bath, inquire about Joshy’s fever, buying Amari fall clothes, and about a billion other things that have been traditionally labeled as “nurturing” or motherly. Hubby is on it! He is an awesome dad, and he loves his boys unconditionally and shows it.
