Hubby and I began reading The Five Love Languages by Dr. Gary Chapman. I am convinced that if we can identify our own love languages and speak fluently each others dialect of their love language, we can strengthen our marriage with better expressions of love. I have no idea what hubby’s love language is, but today I think it may be Qaulity Time. He enjoys being outdoors together and doing athletic games. He is always asking me to play Wii sports with him, and he’s the one always offering the game of Scrabble. In undergrad, he used to come to ALL of my events, even if it he could not participate, just to be with me.
I hope to get a clear sense of my own love language as well. I’ll let you know once we finish the book.
